Seems pretty durable. Ergo you need to add “mil-Spec” to the description as it doesn’t state whether it’s commercial or Mil-Spec. Also, during installation theres a little tab that needs to be knocked out to pass the bolt through to mount it to the receiver. All in all really good product and lets me mount any AR/M4 collapsible stock and grip.

Great concept, okay execution.
Does as advertised and will allow you to mount AR-15 buttstocks and grips. However, the grip threading strips very, very easily, so be careful not to over tighten. You will also need a castle nut to tighten down the buffer tube because Ergo’s grip has a set screw on the bottom to tighten, but that also strips out easy.

A very nice idea, bad execution. You’ll need a buffer tube (Yes, it’s Mil Spec) and a Castle Nut. There’s a set screw on the bottom to center the buffer tube. The downfall is in where the grip is installed. The internal threads are of the same polymer as the rest of the piece. If you over tighten or swap pistol grips multiple times you will lose all the threads. I’ve only taken my original grip off twice, and then swapped to a different grip. The threads no longer exist. Also, it’s nice with a collapsible buttstock, but anything higher than birdshot collapses the buttstock completely from the recoil which kinda mitigates its intended purpose.

Upon initial inspection it’s great! Fits my Mil-spec stock great! The problem is the grip! A MFT grip is far to large to mount on it, and won’t align properly! Will try a magpul one and update from there!

Ordered a magpul moe grip and the screw that comes with the grip is too big for the hole in the adapter.

Great adapter for $39
I’ve had mine for over 5 years and over 500 rounds of 2 3/4 00.

Mil-Spec or Commercial tube.
Need a castle nut.
The grip matters 100% because the grip mounting angel is already reduced.
Standard angel grip are a little more vertical, reduced angels can be completely vertical or develop a forward cant.
I recommend flat top grips. If the grip has a thicker back strap, then there are two issues I’ve found.
1.) You may not be able to hit the action release with your thumb AND
2.) The collapsible stock could get in the way of a proper grip by riding on the webbing of your hand.

After frequent shooting, the grip broke off. Found that the plastic next to the screw hole for the pistol grip was split up both sides
